You can use it for any number of things, BUT I’ve found that the best way of using it is for research, and to enhance your current workflow.
Here' are some AI prompts I use regularly to be efficient with my time.
Researching your ICP 📚
Understanding the PROBLEMS your audience is facing is important.
This prompt will help you generate/brainstorm issues they may face.
"As a [job title] at a [type of company] in [industry] with [number of employees] employees and [annual revenue] in revenue:
What are your top 3-5 challenges related to [specific area]?
What are the consequences of these challenges?
What solutions have you tried, and how effective were they?
What tools or services are you using or considering to address these issues?
Describe your ideal solution for each challenge.
How do you search for and evaluate potential solutions?
What factors are most important in your decision-making process?"
Company Research 📈
Understand a company, and get an idea of how to make your outreach relevant and impactful.
"Conduct research on [company name] to identify their main products or services, unique selling points, and competitive advantages. Determine the key decision-makers within the organization, their roles, and responsibilities. Look for recent news, events, or achievements that the company has had, which could be used as talking points in your outreach. Summarize your findings in a concise manner, highlighting the most relevant information that can help you tailor your sales approach and messaging to effectively engage with the prospect."
Competitor Research 🔬
Competitors change all the time, I use this to stay up to date.
Useful for when onboarding or to research new competitors that pop up.
"Identify our main competitors in the [industry name] industry and analyze their strengths and weaknesses in comparison to our product/service. Determine our unique value propositions and key differentiators that set us apart from the competition. Research the strategies and tactics our competitors are using to attract and retain customers in the [industry name] industry. Summarize your findings, highlighting the most crucial information that can help you position our product/service effectively, anticipate potential objections, and develop a compelling sales strategy to win business in a competitive market."
Crafting Personalized Outreach 📥
Use this prompt to generate a tailored message for your prospect:
"Create a personalized outreach message for [prospect name], a [job title] at [company name]. Incorporate the following information:
Their recent [achievement/news] and how it relates to our offering
The specific challenges they may be facing based on our ICP research
How our product/service can help address those challenges and provide value
A clear call-to-action for the next steps
Ensure the message is concise, engaging, and highlights our unique value proposition."
