Step by step:
Cold calling is hard. I tried many different methods, but this is the one that I sticked with through my journey through SDR to AE.
It’s simple. To the point. Effective.

Intro 👋
"Hi this is Cipriano with ABC company, How's your Wednesay treating you? How've you been?"
Intro is fast and to the point. Keep it simple.
Gauge if they're chatty or not.
Yes, spend a couple of moments making a connection.
No, Move straight to the next straight to the next step..
Ask Permission 🗣️
“Hey Jon, I know you’re super busy, do you have a quick second, I’ll be super brief if that’s ok?”
There are multiple philosophies on asking for permission.
I've always found that meetings would show, and be high quality for the AE when I received permission.'
Reason for the call 💭
“Reason for the call is, I was doing some research on your site and noticed that ...Sound right?”
There should be a reason you're reaching out to that person "specifically".
What you saw in google news, their website, or on LinkedIn.
This helps you cut through the noise.
Research once, note it in your dialer so you can be quick in-between calls.
Value prop 📈
"We've actually been helping companies in that exact situation by doing x, y, and z"
How does your solution tie in with their current situation?
Make sure you know the value you bring to each one of the personas you're targeting.
Focus on your differentiators.
Close 🤝
"Are you open to seeing what this looks like sometime tomorrow or early next week?" or "I'd love to show you how this works, do you have your calendar in front of you?"
Ask for the meeting.
Many ways to do this, but make sure you're asking with conviction and then stay QUIET!
Silence is your friend.
After booking ✏️
Qualify:
Work with your AE to create questions for info they want to know before the demo.
Confirm:
Send the calendar invite, while you have them on the phone. Confirm time zones, etc..
Remind:
Leave VM the day before, reminding of the meeting, and and send email.
